PLANNING PRINCIPLES

Those who fail to plan, plan to fail

For every minute spent organizing. An hour is earned.

You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them.

Most thing are not obtained because they are not attempted.

The greater danger for us most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short, but in setting aim too low, and achieving our mark.

One can choose to go back toward safety or forward toward growth. Growth must be chosen again and again; fear must be overcome again and again.

Think 100x bigger. Execute 100x smaller.

Increase your aspirations, lower your expectation. Repeat.

The shortcut is to stop taking shortcuts.

Lack of direction, not lack of time, is the problem. We all have 24 hour days.

To speed up, slow down.

Prioritise direction over speed.

If it’s a priority you will find a way. If it isn’t, you will find an excuse.

Don’t judge a day by the harvest your reap, but by the seeds that you plant.

Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose.

Focus on the path, that leads to the pass, that leads to the score.

Life is very short for those who forget the past, neglect the present, and fear the future.

The map is not the territory.

No plan survives contact with reality
